Ministries
Birth – 5th Grade
Kids
At Cedar Springs, our goal is to partner with families in laying a foundation of biblical truth for the next generation.
We provide safe, age-appropriate environments where kids can learn about God’s plan for their lives through gospel-centered curriculum, small group discipleship, and worship.
Our classes are staffed with volunteers who not only love and care for your child but also teach a Bible lesson, which includes Scripture, prayer, music, craft and activity.
All of our volunteers have been background checked and instructed, and are supervised in conjunction with the church’s Child Protection Policy. Our Check-In & Check-Out System is designed to provide for your child’s protection.
6th Grade – College
Students
Our mission is to invite students and families to respond to God’s love by developing a deep relationship with Jesus, loving one another and serving the world. From middle school to college, we have opportunities for students to develop friendships, strengthen their faith, and ask the hard questions coming up in their lives.
Live Deeply
Adults
We weren’t made to do life alone. Whether you’re a young adult just out of college, in your golden years, or anywhere between, we have opportunities for you to grow deeper in your relationships with others and with Christ. From serving to studying, crafting to praying, there’s a place for you to find the community you were made for.
Special Needs Ministry
At Cedar Springs, we embrace our friends and neighbors with special needs, recognizing them as precious gifts from God. We wholeheartedly commit to supporting, uplifting, and learning from them, with the belief that together we can discover the deeper meaning of the Kingdom of God. Our ultimate desire is to foster an environment where they and their families feel a profound sense of belonging, breaking through isolation and cultivating a community of unwavering presence, support, and encouragement. We long to communicate the Gospel effectively to individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities knowing God has called us to equip and make disciples of all people.
To our friends and neighbors with special needs, YOU are an integral part of our community, and we want you to know that this is a place where you truly belong.
Worship deeply
Worship
At Cedar Springs, we seek to point each other to the only One who can satisfy by providing a reorientation of your heart and mind to the only One who truly hears you, understands you, and is worthy of your highest affections so you can have a deeper relationship with him.
Each week, we take a consistent, thoughtful approach to music to help you engage with Christ in many ways, all geared towards Gospel truth impacting you on a deeper level.
Love deeply
Caring
Part of Living Deeply is caring deeply. The leadership of Cedar Springs — our elders, deacons, and staff — want to connect you with help and support, whether it’s through providing pastoral care, connecting you to a caregiver in Stephen Ministry, or referring you to a professional counselor in our community. Please follow the links below to reach a ministry leader who would love to help you navigate your difficulty.
Heal deeply
Counseling
The Gospel of Christ declares that we are a community of broken people, all of whom need grace. In fact, God’s Word tells us that it is through our brokenness and our weakness that we can find true strength, as we depend less on ourselves and more upon our kind and powerful God. As a church, we want to be a place where we can speak up about our struggles and reach out and receive the support we need. God blesses us with the church, which can be the community we need during difficult seasons in our lives. Let us know if you’re struggling.
Local & Global
Mission
As followers of Christ, we’re tasked with sharing the Gospel. We facilitate opportunities to serve locally and abroad, demonstrating God’s goodness in word and deed. At Cedar Springs, we want to give you the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus so you can find a deeper purpose in life through serving others.
K – 8th grade
Sports
We build deep relationships through sports. But it’s about more than just the game. Sports are our vehicle to teach kids about the Bible and how to apply it to their daily lives.
By teaching young athletes new skills and helping them in an activity they love, we are able to build the deep relationships needed to develop spiritual relationships as well as athletic ones.
Through sports, we want your kids to feel more connected with God, find their identity in him, and have deep, Christ-centered relationships with their friends, coaches, and teammates.
Get Involved
We are able to do what we do because of incredible volunteers like you. No matter your skillset or personality, we have a place for you to serve at Cedar Springs.
