Care, Encouragement, and Support

The CSPC Care Ministry has multiple and diverse care teams that are capable of providing various forms of care, encouragement, and support to our members. We are currently prepared for both short- and long-term care needs.

• Prayer Support (including emails, texts, and/or phone calls)
• Meals after surgery or during the course of medical treatments
• Visitation: A visit can be scheduled while a member is recovering from surgery, having health concerns that require them to stay at home, being physically homebound, or becoming the sole caregiver for a loved one
• Transportation to doctor appointments
• Small Home Repairs and/or Lawn Care

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a lay care ministry in which trained congregation members – called Stephen Ministers – provide one-on-one Christ-centered care to those who are experiencing something difficult such as grief, job loss, or chronic illness. Typically a Stephen Minister serves one person at a time and meets with that individual for about an hour a week.

Mental Health Concerns

The gospel of Christ declares that we are a community of broken people, all of whom need grace. In fact, God’s Word tells us that it is through our brokenness and our weakness that we can find true strength, as we depend less on ourselves and more upon our kind and powerful God. As a church, we want to be a place where we can speak up about our struggles and reach out and receive the support we need. Let us know if you’re struggling.
